East Greenbush CSD is accepting applications for a Full-Time Temporary Teaching Assistant for the 2025-2026 school year. The position is 6.5 hours per day. The position is to work with students or groups to support their understanding of the curriculum; support students with social-emotional and management needs; support students with ADLs and self-help skills, or with the use of assistive technology or augmentative communication devices; provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to students for the purpose of re-teaching and review. Assist with classroom management, including implementation of behavior management plans; provide instructional assistance or support in a computer lab, classroom or other instructional location under the direct supervision of a teacher. Staff will be trained in de-escalation techniques.
Candidates MUST hold valid New York State Teaching Assistant or Classroom Teacher Certification.
